In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
